Fourth in the series of Beanstiary, a project of fantasy worlds populated with Ty Beanie Babies™️. I had been looking forward to this piece, and had actually intended on making it before Scorch, but felt the need to make more practice sketches before committing to the final composition. The goal was to use 4 point perspective on a dutch angle to push the drama of the scene. Midway through the final drawing, I realized the castle and mountains strongly resembled those in the Scorch painting, and decided to make a very silly narrative. 

The original piece was made by rendering a full-value under-drawing in pencil, and then layering on thin washes of acrylics.

Mini and large size (5”×7” and 10”×14") digital art print. 300gsm art paper, dye inks, and uv protective spray to enhance the longevity of the print.
